Community
At Lee Kimball, we work to make our clients’ homes better—and we extend our efforts beyond the walls of those houses to the neighborhoods surrounding them. We believe that the communities around us are very much a part of what we call home. In this spirit, we dedicate ourselves every year to helping local and national charities and causes, including causes that are important to our clients.
Locally, Lee Kimball has sponsored Reading Rotary, Winchester Chamber of Commerce, the Cool Science Club in the Winchester public schools, and Winchester Friends of Hospice Care, as well as youth sports groups including Reading Youth Baseball and Friends of North Reading Hockey. We also support the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, Gibson House, and the Teamsters. Recently, we began organizing residential home tours as well, with ticket sales benefiting the Pine Street Inn.
On a more personal note, the Johnson family established the David K. Johnson Foundation to promote awareness and provide support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other progressive dementia disorders. The Foundation raises funds through an annual golf tournament and other activities to benefit Sanborn Home Care and The Alzheimer’s Association. Other beneficiaries have included the Reading Scholarship Fund.
We will continue striving to help others and serve our communities.
